The purpose of this section of my website is to provide you with direct access to a "page" containing all the data from my database about any one of the more than 10,000 DECEASED individuals I have researched for it.

I use the now defunct program THE MASTER GENEALOGIST to organize this data.  I feel it meets my needs better than any other such database.  For creating these webpages in HTML, I use SECOND SITE by John Cardinal which handles the many details of organizing all the information.

Your access to these "pages" will be facilitated by the use of several menu items just above this notice. They are:

Main Page -- This message and a menu of options.

Surname Index -- This leads to an alphabetical list of all the surnames in the project, each followed by the number of people in the project who have that surname (example:  Alden (4)).  The underline with each name indicates that the name is a hyperlink that you can click on and you will be shown the alphabetic list of each of the individuals with that surname and each has the birth and death date if known.  Again, each name is a hyperlink and takes you to the data "page" for that person.  See below.

Master Name Index --  This is an alphabetical index of names by surname, offered in segments.  Choose the segment containing the person you seek, then scroll to and click on that person.  You will be shown the data "page" for that individual (possibly heading a scroll-down list of other alphabetically related people).  This begins with name, gender and life dates followed by an icon leading to a 3 generation pedigree showing known ancestors and a list of spouses and children.  The underlined names on this chart are live links leading to data "pages" for the named individuals.  Below the chart icon will be live links to the parents (if known) and a list of zero or more special charts on which the main person appears and then the date last edited.  After a list of spouses and children (if any) the presentation concludes with a list of references used for the footnotes.  If known, this report also shows the relationship the main person has to me.

Master Place Index -- Indexed by State or Country, then City or locality. Selecting any one of the underlined place names brings up a list of live links to people who have one or more events associated with that place.

Charts --  This currently offers 3 charts, each showing the descendants of one of my ancestors for whom I have departed from my usual method of following ancestral lines and attempt to trace descendants of the chosen ancestor.  These charts give you a graphic overview of an entire family and help visualize relationships.
