Dr. Delbert C. Harrison was born on 14 Sep 1873.1 He was the son of Russell Harrison and Sarah Ellen Rose.1 Dr. Delbert C. Harrison died on 28 Mar 1923 at age 49.3,2 He was buried.4
His obituary states:
"Dr. Delbert C. Harrison, son of Sarah and Russel Harrison, was born near Parkersburg September 14, 1873, and departed this life in Chicago, March 29, 1923.
"His early life was spent at Parkersburg. Being of a studious disposition he sought further education at Westfield college, an institution whose purpose it was to develop men spiritually as well as intellectually and physically. He dropped out of school to teach, but returned later, graduating in the year 1900. While in school, teachers and students were greatly impressed by his excellent scholarship, his earnestness and sincerity of purpose.
Later he entered medical school in Chicago and upon the completion of his course, practiced in that city. He spent four years in practice in ihs [sic] home town, after which he resumed his hospital work in Chicago.
"During his second year at Westfield, Delbert was happily converted, and the beautiful letter written to his mother at this time is one of her most cherished memories.
"He united with the United Brethren church at Parkersburg, which membership he maintained until his death.
"He was preceded to the other world by his father in 1910. He leaves to mourn their loss, his mother, Sarah Harrison, of Parkersburg; a sister, Mrs. Edith Smith of Brazil, Ind; a brother, Alva Harrison, of Winter Haven, Florida; two half-sisters, Mrs. Lucy Dodds, of Oak Grove, and Mrs. Mary Hedrick, of Winter Haven, Florida; also many relatives and friends.
"The funeral was held from the U. B. church at Parkersburg, Saturday, March 31. Mr. Paul Blakney had charge. Music was furnished by a mixed octette who sang, "No Night There," and "Sometime Well [We'll] Understand." Mrs. Blakney and Mr. Swinson sang "Saved by Grace."
"Burial was in the Parkersburg cemetery."5,6

"She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Toole of Evansville; one sister, Mrs. Lois Harrison of West Salem; two grandsons, John and Robert Toole of Evansville and one granddaughter, Georgeanne Toole, also of Evansville.
"She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Inez Harrison and her brothers, Harvey and Kendall.
"She was born on May 25, 1899, in West Salem to John William and Sarah Della (Hill) Harrison. She married Henry John Busefink in December of 1919, and he died in May of 1944.
"She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church."4

On the tenth of April 1818, John Harrison of Alleghany County, New York was granted the NE 1/4 S5T1N R13W of the federal lands for sale at the Vincennes, Indiana, Land Office. The grant was made by Presodemt James Monroe.4

John Harrison died at Allegany County, New York. He was born on 29 Nov 1761 at Branford, Town of New Haven, Connecticut. He was the son of Jonathan Harrison and Sarah Baldwin. John Harrison married Irene Wardell, daughter of Joseph Wardell and Lois Frisbie, on 10 May 1787 at Branford, Town of New Haven, Connecticut.
In the notes for Nile, in the town of Friendship, French says: "John Harrison and Simon and Zebulon Gates settled in June, 1807. ... the first marriage, that of Jas. Sanford and Sally Harrison, in Dec. 1809".1
