Mary Daniel married Ezra Morse II, son of Ezra Morse and Joanna Hoare.3 Mary Daniel was born in Jul 1669 at Medfield, Massachusetts.4,5 She was the daughter of Joseph Daniel and Mary/Marie Fairbanks.2 Mary Daniel died on 18 Sep 1746 at Dedham, Massachusetts, at age 776 and was buried at South Parish Cemetery, Dedham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.7
Spencer has identified Mary, wife of Ezra Morse. "By a deed of 15 April 1718, 'Ezra Morse of Dedham in the County of Suffolk within the province of Massachusetts bay in New England Yeoman & Mary his wife (one of the daughters of Joseph Daniel of Medway within the County aforsd, deced) and Joseph Mason of Medfield in the County aforsd. and Elizabeth his Wife (another of the daughters of Joseph Daniel aforementioned[)]' sold a house in Hanover Street, Boston, to Benjamin Gibson."2
Spencer and Spooner later pointed out that "It is not entirely clear from the vital records of Dedham that she [Mary Daniels] was the mother of all of Ezra's children. There is no direct marriage record, and a gap in the birth pattern from1694 to 1703. In addition, the earliest baptismal and marriage records of the Dedham church are missing. [Reference is made to The Deacon's Book: Records of the First Church, Dedham, Massachusetts, 1677 - 1737 by Robert Brand Hanson] Ezra, however, may be credited with having children with the same woman from 1703 forwsrd.
