John Macomber married Mary Babcock.
I'm not sure if there is any evidence of connection to John Macomber, baptised in Bridport, Dorset, England, on 26 Oct 1613 as son of John Macomber (and Edith Locke). I need to make further study of the American family. This might be done in The Macumber Family Ancestry (Verntura, CA, 1981) by Harold H. Macomber.1 John Macomber "cooper and mill owner"; Staples Genealogy.

"Mr. Manley was born on the present Edward Skinner farm, south of the village, on August 6, 1852, and had spent his entire life in Hartford. He had held a number of local offices, including that of village president.
