Ebenezer Snell married Sarah Packard, daughter of Abiel Packard and Sarah Ames. Ebenezer Snell was born on 1 Oct 1738.1 He was the son of Zachariah Snell and Abigail Hayward. Ebenezer Snell died on 2 Aug 1813 at Cummington, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, at age 74. He was buried at Bryant Cemetery, Cummington, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.
On 16 March 1848, an Ebenezer Snell, in a declaration made to help Lydia Dunbar obtain a Revolutionary War pension, stated that he was of Plainfield, Hampshire County, Massacusetts, and had been born in 1771 in Bridgewater. "In the following year 1772, my parents as they have informed me, removed from Bridgewater to Cummington in said county of Hampshire." Perhaps it can be shown that this Ebenezer was the son of the one who married Sarah Packard but that is not shown in Bridgewater births to 1850. The Brockton VR to 1850 show one Ebenezer Snell, son of Ebenezer, baptized on 22 Sept 1771.2
