Jan Crites has confirmed the 1914 newspaper date and pointed on that 28 Oct was a Wednesday in 1914 but not in 1915, in agreement with the statement that he died on a Wednesday. The tombstone would not have been erected until many years later, at least after his wife's death. Perhaps the Moravian burial records were influenced by the tombstone.
