"First of all I commend my soul to God who gave it and that my body be decently buried and that all my just debts be paid, and as to my property I shall dispose of it as followeth.
"First of all I give and bequeath to my son John one hundred and eighty five acres of land more or less by his paying the rest of the legators twenty five dollars within two years of my decease, bounded as followeth. Beginning on a red dot on a conditional line between myself and Martin Thompson running with the fence N. E. until it joins the orchard fence, then with cross fence North to a to a corner then East with said fence whereunto it strikes the outside fence at the point of the hill then running with the top of Ivy ridge to the out line and the balance of my land adjoining above where my son William now lives. I give to my son William by his paying fifty dollars in trade to the rest of the legators written two years after my decease. And I give to my son Jonathan my saddle, and I give to my daughter Judah Pack's five children one twenty five dollar note with interest that is against Daniel Edwards, and I give to Samuel Pack one dollar, and I give to my daughter DELILAH NEWMAN the red cow that I loaned her with her increase to up her twenty five dollar equal with the rest of my children, and I give to my step-son Moses Hall my bay mare, and all the rest of the property with twenty five acres of land on the mountain to be sold on a credit of nine months, and it and all notes that I hold against people to be divided equally between Sarah Pack and Jonathan Ellison, Nancy Pack, Lucy Holbrook, Delilah Newman and Judah Pack's children, and Judah's children to have equal to each on of the other five named above.
