She qualified for DAR membership through her ancestor Johann Jacob Brumbach, who, though a noncombatant, gave aid to the Colonists in the Revolutionary War.4

John Jackson Edenburn Jr. was born on 27 Sep 1918.1,2 He was the son of John Jackson Edenburn and Helen Blanche "Nell" Findley.1 John Jackson Edenburn Jr. married Lois June Sargent on 7 Jun 1941 at Ames, Iowa.2 John Jackson Edenburn Jr. died in 2001.3
John J. Edenburn, DVM, is a graduate of Iowa State College, served in the Army Veterinary Corps during WWII, was in private practice for several years, and (about 1978) was in meat inspection for the USDA. He had raised horses, ponies, and Hereford cattle, using the name "Richland Farm" for his operation, a name taken from the name of the farm his maternal grandfather managed, the Richland Farm in Southern Illinois. He was a Master Mason, Scottish Rite, and Shriner. He was also a member of the National Association of Federal Veterinarians, served for several years on the National Board of Directors of the "Pony of the Americas" breed association, and was active in the American Horse Show Association. About 1978, John and Lois were living at Dell Rapids, South Dakota.2

Ella A. Edgington was born c 1902 at Iowa.1 She married Franklin Ellis "Frank" Olds, son of Alfonso Olds and Rachel Goldsbury, c 1923.1
Five Olds children were born in Cass County whose mother had been an Edgington. Four of these are listed in the 1930 census listing for the family of Frank and Ella Olds; Lloyd had died young. On this basis, I have added all five to this family and entered Edgington as the surname for Ella.2

Samuel Edson was christened on 5 Sep 1613 at Fillongley, Warwickshire, England. He was the son of Thomas Edson and Elizabeth Copson. Samuel Edson married Susanna Orcutt in 1638 at Warwickshire, England. Samuel Edson died on 19 Jul 1692 at West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at age 78.1

Susanna Edson married James Keith.1 Susanna Edson was born c 1640 at Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 She was the daughter of Samuel Edson and Susanna Orcutt. Susanna Edson died on 16 Oct 17053 and was buried at Old Graveyard, Bridgewater, Massachusetts.4
