Ridgely married Mrs. Emma Stone, daughter of Peter Cotton, on 4 April 1901.4 Susan Emma Cotton died on 3 Apr 1930 at Wabash County, Illinois, at age 57.5,6 She was buried at Orio Cemetery, Wabash County, Illinois.7
