     His death certificate gives his birth date as 2 March 1836 which may be correct although this changes his birth order as estimated from the 1850 census.

Funeral services for F. Dugas Lancaster, 89 of Route 3, who died Monday, will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 P.M. at the J.F. Mortuary.
The Rev. C.B. Prince, the Rev. Carl O. Page and W.L. Lee will officiate. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
The body is at the mortuary.
He was a retired farmer and native of Spartanburg County and was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. He lived with his granddaughter, Mrs. Bert Foster.
