Elizabeth Whetman married John Brooke, son of Robert Brooke and Katherine (?), on 8 May 1554 at St. Leonard's in Eastcheap, London, England.1,2 Elizabeth Brooke was buried on 30 Jun 1599 at St. Leonard's in Eastcheap, London, England.3
"Elizabeth (Whatman) Brooke surely belonged to the Whatman family of Bletchingley but we have not discovered her parents. As Mrs Brooke widow of Mr John Brooke, she was buried at St. Leonard's on 30 June 1599."3 She left a will on 18 Jun 1599. She requested to be "buryed in the Chauncell wth in the Parishe Churche of St Leonard nighe Eastcheape in London wherre I am a parrishioner". She made bequests to son Robert Brooke, including some items that had belonged to his grandfather and some that had belonged to her late husband, John Brooke; my daughter Joane Foote; my daughter Susan Bonner; daughter Margaret Foote; my daughter Katherine Floode; my daughter Sarah Storye; my daughter in law Mary Brooke; to John Storye. Thomas Storye and Mary Storye, all under 21 or single, my daughters children; to Thomas Bethonie, my daughter's son; to Elizabeth Foote, daughter of my said daughter Margaret Foote; to Mary Foote, daughter of my said daughter Joan Foote; to William Whetman, my brother's son, and to his sister Elizabeth Whetmann; to Sybbl Flood daughter of my said daughter Katheryn Flood; to Thomas Berry, one of my daughter's sons; and to unnamed children of my daughters.
She also gave "all that my Messuage, howse, or Tente wth all and singuler the appurtenncs in Gracyous streete in London comonlie called or known by the name of the signe of the Starre and Styrope" to her son Robert Brooke. If his male line failed or he attempted to sell the property, it would go to her son Thomas Brooke, and finally, under the same conditions, to be divided "amongs such of my said daughters Joane Foote Suzanne Bonner Margarett Foote Katheren Flood and Sarah Storye, and their heires forever as shalbe living att such decease or tyme of such attemptinge going about or practesinge anie such saide bargayne sale conveyaunce assurance ace deed or thinge...". She also held about 40 acres in Horsham, co. Sussex, which went to son Thomas Brooke. Thomas was required to make payments to her sons-in-law, Robert Foote, John Bonner, John Foote, and Richard Flood and to her daughter Sarah Storye "while she shall live as a widowe." The same conditions she had placed on the Star and Stirrup were placed on the property in Horsham. This will was probated 28 July 1599 (PCC 65 Kidd).4

Anna White was born on 6 Jun 1695 at Dorchester, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Henry White and Mary Weeks. Anna White married Ezra Morse III, son of Ezra Morse II and Mary Daniel, on 2 May 1715 at Dorchester, Massachusetts.2,3 Anna White died on 29 Dec 1762 at Dedham, Massachusetts, at age 67.4 She was buried at South Parish Cemetery, Dedham (now Norwood), Massachusetts.5,6
