Benjamin Wood was born on 29 Apr 1751 at Framingham, Massachusetts.2 Marriage banns for him and Lucy Olds were published on 4 Apr 1775 at Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts.3 Benjamin Wood married Lucy Olds, daughter of Ezekiel Old and Elizabeth (?), on 15 Jun 1775.4,5 Benjamin Wood married (2) Patty Stowell (the widow Willis) on 25 Feb 1823.6 Benjamin Wood died on 4 Apr 1833 at East Alstead, New Hampshire, at age 81.7
Benjamin moved when young, along with his father Thomas Wood, from Framingham, Massachusetts to Hopkintown. They were both living in Brookfield, Massachusetts, previous to 19 April 1775, on which day they responded to the Lexington Alarm call. Benjamin returned home, 1 May 1775. Benjamin Wood was born on 23 Mar 1777 at Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of Benjamin Wood and Lucy Olds.1 Benjamin Wood married Abigail Waldo on 2 Apr 1801 at Orange, Grafton County, New Hampshire.1 Benjamin Wood died on 4 Apr 1841 at East Alstead, New Hampshire, at age 64.1

Buckminster Wod married Polly Brooks of Alstead prior to 1800. He moved to Orange, Vt., where his daughters, Lucinda and Sophia, and oldest son Elias Howard were born. He next lived in Ludlowville, Tompkins County, New York, and finally moved to Avon, Lorain County, Ohio, where his wife, Polly Brooks, died and was buried. After her death he lived in Sandusky, Ohio, and was buried beside his wife in Avon, Ohio.4
