     Mary E. Black married James Newell Olds, son of Daniel Griswold Olds and Mary E. Black. She was born on 3 Mar 1832.2 She married Daniel Griswold Olds, son of James Newell Olds and Eunice Griswold, on 29 Jan 1850.3,4 Mary E. Black died on 29 May 1902 at age 70.2

Her Remains Will Be Shipped to Atlanta for Interment This Afternoon.
Mrs. Mary E. Olds died yesterday afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. C. E. Vinson, on the Houston road, about eight miles from Macon. She was 71 years old, and had spent her life in raising a large and influential family, every member of which has honored her gray hair. She was the mother of Mrs. Vinson, of Dr. A. D. Olds of Houston county, of Mrs. W. H. Turner of Atlanta, Mr. James M. Olds of Elberton, Mr. L. W. Olds of Suwannee, Mrs. T. A. J. Majors of Carrollton, and Mrs. Freeman and Mrs. Campbell of Centreville.
The remains will be shipped to Atlanta this morning for interment this afternoon.

Daniel Olds are buried at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA.
