"Mr. Bogard was a native of Edwards county and operated a farm in Richland county for many years prior to his retirement. The family residence while in Olney was on South Whittle Ave.
"Mr. Bogard's survivors are his wife Stella and two daughters, Mrs. Ana Marbry of Lawrenceville and Mrs. Iris Jacobus of Decatur.
"There are three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Victoria Mercer of West Salem and Mrs. Vora Hodler of Zion are sisters.
"Funeral services for Mr. Bogard will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 o'clock in Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. C. L. Riske officiating. Interment will be in the Moravian Cemetery.
"The family respectfully requests that flowers please be omitted."7
