Angeline (or Anna) Turner was buried at Double Springs, Greenville County, South Carolina.2,3 She was born c 1854.4 She was the daughter of William Turner and Nancy (?). Angeline (or Anna) Turner married Warren Drummond Bragg, son of George W. Bragg and Mary Ann Childress.2
Angeline (or Anna) Turner is named in the obituary of her son, W. W. Bragg.5
Her name and identity are in doubt. She could be the Angeline Turner, age 4, included in the family of Thomas Turner, age 32, and Polly Turner, age 31, in the 1850 census of Spartanburg County, South Carolina. But , matching her 1880 age better, she could be the Angeline Turner, age 6, included in the family of William Turner, age 29, and Nancy, age 27, in the 1860 census of Millburgh Post Office, Greenville County, South Carolina. She is not among the heirs of the William Turner, with widow Nancy, whose will was written 15 Jan. 1856 and probated in Spartanburg County on 18 Feb. 1856.
Angeline (or Anna) Bragg and Warren Drummond Bragg appeared on the census of 5 Jun 1880 at Reidville Township, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, as follows:
Bragg, Warran, 28, farm laborer, can neither read nor write
, Angeline, 26, wife, keeping house, can neither read nor write
      , Washington, 4, son
      , Richard, 2, son

William Turner and Nancy (?) appeared on the census at Millburgh Division, Greenville County, South Carolina, as follows: William Turner, age 29, ditcher, b. N.C., wife Nancy, 27, b. S. C., dau. Angeline, 6, b. S. C; dau., Castis, age 3, b. S.C.1

A William Turner, in his will of 1 May 1896, mentions a first wife, Nancy, and little daughter Nancy buried at Washington Church, but he mentions no Anna or Angeline. I found no such Nancy Turner listed for Washington Baptist Church in Vol. 2 of the Greenville County Cemetery Survey. However, findagrave.com has Nancy C. Howell Turner, 7 Oct. 1849 - 30 Jan 1886, wife of W. W. Turner, and also Nancy, daughter of W. W. and N. C. Turner, 29 Jan 1886 - June 1886, buried at Washington Cemetery, Greer.
Findagrave.com also has William Worth Turner, 25 Oct 1855 - 9 May 1896 and Hattie J. Campbell Turner Petty, 24 Nov 1872 - 6 Oct 1961, buried at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. These dates are enough to eliminate this William and Nancy as the parents of Angeline.2,3,4
