This household included widowed "mother" Ellen Matlack, age 69. [The fit would be better if the census said "mother-in-law" and the tombstone said born in 1908.]4

Hi,
Looks like the D D Webber is Drury D Weber/Webber born 28 Jan 1829 in SC. Drury was the son of Moses and Anne ( Dobbins) Weber. Moses is from the Casper and Rosannah( m nam. unk) Weber. There are some postings on the internet stating that Moses is one of the sons of Casper. However based on documents written by Casper Weber etc it is believed by many Webber/Weber researchers that Moses was more likely the grandson of Casper . He is believed to be the son Casper's eldest son William Weber. Census and other data seem to support this belief.
I am descended from Casper through one of his other sons and have information on this family if you are interested.7
I have not found him in the 1850 census unless he was the David Webber in ths family:DeborahONeal94 (View posts)
