Eleanor Williams alias Sacket was born c 1769.2 She married (1) Peter Hammond on 30 Sep 1784 at Westfield, Massachusetts.3 Eleanor Williams alias Sacket married (2) Amos Olds, son of Samuel Old and Abigail Handchit, on 10 Feb 1803 at Great Barrington, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.4 Eleanor Williams alias Sacket died on 2 Aug 1849 at Great Barrington, Berkshire County, Massachusetts; "wid. Amos, "a Pensioner", old age, Aug 2, 1849, a. 815" and was buried at Water Street Cemetery, Great Barrington, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.2
On 2 Jan 1844 when Eleanor Olds of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, age 74 (she was age 76 on 24 Sep 1844) applied for a widow's pension under the Act of 1838 (the documents also mention several other such acts), she described herself as widow of Peter Hammond, her first husband, late of Westfield, and presented a transcript from the Congregational Church at Westfield giving the marriage of Eleanor Williams (alias Sacket) to Peter Hammon, both of Westfield, on 30 Sep 1784 and the death of Peter Hammon on 15 Oct 1795 of disorder consumption at age 42. She then married Amos Olds in a winter at the home of Aaron Olds but was not certain of the date, saying she thought it was in Feb. 1802 or 1803. Amos Olds, late of Great Barrington, died in July 1833 (once given as 1834). Her first husband had served as a drummer in the Army of the Revolution. Eleanor Olds signed by mark. Eleanor had a son, John Hammon, living in Great Barrington in 1843 and two or three children by Amos Olds. She was given a pension of $88/year beginning (retroactively) in March, 1843. In Sep 1844, Edward P. Woodworth was appointed guardian of Eleanor Olds of Great Barrington, "an insane person".3
