Experience Mitchell was born c 1602.1 He married Jane Cooke, daughter of Francis Cooke and Hester Mahieu, c 1627 at Plymouth, Massachusetts.2 Experience Mitchell married (2) Mary (?) c 1640.3 Experience Mitchell died bt 2 Jun 1685 - 14 May 1689 at Bridgewater, Massachusetts.4
Although some suggestion has been made that Experience Mitchell may have been the son of a Thomas Mitchell, this is not yet convincing.5
Robert S. Wakefield wrote an article summarizing what is known about the family of Experience Mitchell, especially to point out that not all of his children were Mayflower descendants. The conclusion of this article is that only Elizabeth and Thomas belong to Jane Cooke and perhaps Mary does but the other children do not.6
Wood has placed Mary Mitchell as a daughter of Jane Cooke rather than second wife Mary.7
"Experience Mitchell's inventory was taken 14 May, 1689, and his will was proved 4 September, 1689, therefore the date of the will, 5 December, 1689, as recorded by the clerk, Samuel Sprague, is doubtless in error. The will must have been made on 5 December in the year 1688, or possibly even earlier. The will and inventory are recorded in the Plymouth County Probate Records, Volume I, page 44 and 45."8
This will named his wife Mary Mitchell, sons Edward and John, daughters Mary Shaw, Sarah Haward and Hannah Haward, grandson Experience Mitchell, son of John, grandson Thomas Mitchell and granddaughter Mary Mitchell. The named executor was son Edward Mitchell and the witnesses were Thomas Hayward and John Haward.9
Wakefield seems to have resolved the date conflict and says "The will of Experience Mitchell of Bridgewater dated 5 Dec. 1684 . . .".6

Catherin Mae Mohr was born in 1926.1 She was the daughter of Charles L. Mohr and Georgia L. Olds.1 Catherin Mae Mohr died on 18 Dec 1940 at Onondaga, Ingham County, Michigan.1
Her obituary states:
"ONONDAGA FIRE COSTS LIFE OF YOUNG GIRL
"Is Smothered When House Catches Fire
"Catherine Mohr, 13, one of the nine children of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mohr of Onondaga, smothered to death when fire broke out in the family home about four o'clock Wednesday morning.
"A sister, Loretta, 17, had her back and legs injured when she jumped from a second story window. She is in a Jackson hospital.
"The parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mohr, and six other children escaped unharmed. There were nine children in the Mohr family, all of them residing at the home in Onondaga except Charles Mohr, Jr., of Parma. The six brothers and sisters of Catherine and Loretta residing at home are Helen, 30; Alice, 21; Cora Belle, 16; Frank, 25; Bob, 10; and Eugene, 12.
"Mr. and Mrs. Mohr and Alice were sleeping downstairs. When they awoke the kitchen was ablaze and the upper story was filled with smoke. The father fought his way up the staris and roused the seven children in the two upstairs rooms.
"Mrs. Mohr is an invalid and her husband, Alice, and Bob, who rushed downstairs immediately, carried her to safety. Then Mr. Mohr ran back into the house and upstairs to check on other members of the family. Some of them had escaped down the stairway. Others, Loretta among them, found their passage to the stairway [this clipping now has a repeated section here] partially cut off and leaped from windows. When the father reached the girls' bedroom he found that Catherine was stupefied with smoke. He pulled her to a window and was about to hand her down when she broke away from his grasp. When the grasp was broken the father fell partly out the window and had to cling to the sill momentarily. The girl fell back into the smoke-filled room. By the time the father climbed back into the pitch dark room he was unable to find the girl and she did not answer his call. Apparently she had collapsed. When her body was finallly recovered it was also severely burned.
"Home Destroyed
"The Leslie fire department was summoned at 4:15, at least half an hour after the fire was discovered. By the tiime the equipment reached Onondaga, seven miles west, the house was a mass of flames.
"Mr. Mohr said there had been no fire in the heating stove the night before. The fire apparently started in the kitchen near the fuse box.
"The house was partially covered by a policy of $1000 with the Ingham County Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance company. Contents were partially covered by a policy of $450 in the same company.
"The Mohrs used a wooden box in the kitchen for a family bank. In it Wednesday morning was a $640 in bills. No one thought to get the money box until the kitchen was ablaze. Search was made Wednesday afternoon to discover some trace of the burned money in the ashes but nothihng was found.
"Veteran County Employees
"Mr. Mohr is employed by the Ingham county road commission and is in charge of the Onondaga district, with headquarters at Onondaga. He has been employed by the road commission for more that 20 years.
"Cora Bell Mohr attended the Mason school until a month ago when she transferred to Leslie.
"Funeral services for Catherine Mohr will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Behrens funeral home in Leslie, with burial in the Leslie cemetery. Rev. McDonald of Manistee officiated [sic -- will officiate?]."2
