Susan Jane Davis was born on 16 Sep 1864.1 She was the daughter of William Davis and Jensie Sellars.1 Susan Jane Davis died on 2 Jun 1891 at age 26.1

On the 2d of June, 1891, MRS. SUSAN JANE WEST, wife of C.B. WEST, daughter of WILLIAM and JINSEY DAVIS, fell asleep in Jesus.
Sister West, upon a confession of faith, was baptized in the fellowship of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church in the year 1880. She was a devoted Christian and died in the triumph of the faith. The day before she died she called her husband and friends to her bedside saying to them " the Lord may not call for me to-night, but I am ready to go and want to talk while I can. " She then made requests about her little daughter and begged her husband and friends to meet her in heaven. She was born Sept. 16, 1864. Married Dec. 2d, 1883. Was the mother of two children- daughters, one went before her. Age, 26 years, 6 months and 16 days.
MRS. WEST was a faithful wife, loving mother, kind and peaceful neighbor. Her afflictions of about 12 months duration were borne in patient resignation and her ' sun went down while it yet was day'.2,3
