Thomas Scott was the son of Christopher Scott.1
Thomas Scott and his four children Thomas Scott, Mary Scott, Sarah Scott and Elizabeth Scott were named in the 1640 will of the children's grandfather, Christopher Scott.
Although these are the names of the four children of Thomas Scott of Hartford, Connecticut, Mahler's article points out that the names are very common and there is no known American record of a connection between Thomas Graves and Thomas Scott.1
Thomas Scott, of Hartford, Connecticut, made his nuncupative will 6 Nov 1643, providing for his widow, Ann, son Thomas, and three daughters. Of the daughters, Mary married Robert Porter, Sarah married John Stanley and Elizabeth married John Loomis.2

Although this obituary names Dorothy Bowers as a great-grandmother, she probably was not. In Feb. 1958, Karen Stremme met nurse Rita Seals at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. They recognized their family connection although Elaine Bowers was not Verdayne Seals' mother.
