Stephen Ulrich was born on 24 Nov 1785.1 He was the son of Samuel Ulrich and Mary Brumbaugh.1
He seems to included in the 1790 census of his father's family but not in the 1800 census. Since neither he nor his heirs are mentioned in his father's will, he probably died young.

Darius Gilbert Upham was born on 25 Aug 1885.2 He married Melissa Edna Olds, daughter of Alexander Hamilton Olds and Sarah C. Layton, on 29 Feb 1920.3,4 Darius Gilbert Upham died in 19342 and was buried at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, Geary County, Kansas.5
He registered with the World War I Selective Service System on 10 Sep 1918 at Junction City, Geary County, Kansas. He described himself as living R1 #3, Junction City, Kansas, age 33, born 25 Aug 1885, and his occupation was farmer. He was tall in height, medium in build, with grey eyes and had brown hair. His closest relative was Catherine Upham of R#3, Dwight, Kansas.6
"Darius Gilbert was born at Pelican Rapids, Otter Tail Co, Minnesota in 1885. He was married in 1911 to Katherine Greybill in Junction City, Kansas. They lived on the farm which later became the Ralph Upham Hatchery. From there, they moved to Kiowa Co, Colorado, where Mabel was born in 1912. Then they moved back to their former home at Junction City, and Hazel was born there in 1914. Later they moved to Portland, Oregon, where Darius had a job in the shipyards.
Katherine became ill with influenza and pneumonia and died the day following the birth of their third daughter, Frances June. Darius' sister Anna, of Nampa, Idaho, adopted Frances. Darius and his two older daughters moved back to Junction City and lived at the County Poor Farm just south of their former home, until 1920, when Darius married Mrs. Melissa (Olds) Fisher. They moved to the McDowell Creek neighborhood where the girls atten an unknown date ed Tully School. He died in 1934 after a short illness, at the age of 49.

Eveline Upham was born on 25 Dec 1805.2 She married William Bemis Olds, son of William Olds and Sarah Upham, on 24 Nov 1830.1,3
An account of early Methodism in Worcester contains the following:
"In 1829 Revs. Isaac Jennison and Isaac Fillmore, in traveling the Needham circuit, preached here a few times. Mr. Jennison says 'Mr. Elijah Brigham lived in a small house near the canal. Only ten or twelve person ventured to come to our meetings; the people seemed to be afraid to attend them. But a class was organized, with Mr. Brigham leader, some of the others being Mrs .Brigham, Mr. Whitney, Miss Emmeline Upham, now Mrs. Wm. B. Olds of Charlton city.' This is believed to have been the first organization of a Methodist Episcopal church in Worcester, but it but it had only a brief existence."4

"Lisa was taken to Richland Memorial Hospital by her mother and grandparents and was pronounced dead on arrival at 2:07 p.m. Cause of death was listed as massive head injuries.
"Bromm said the car's engine was not running at the time of the accident. It is unclear whether one of the girls shifted the car out of park or whether there was a mechanical malfunction, Bromm said.
"Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem is in charge of arrangements. Lisa was the daughter of Philip and Donna Kay Van Matre."2
