     She graduated from Quincy High School and also from Michael Resse Hospital in Chicago with an R. N. degree. In 1971 they were living at 103 W. Palmair, Phoeniz, Arizona.5

For 20 years they dedicated themselves to the healing of God's creatures. She was also a Registered Nurse, avid golfer and enthusiastic card player.
"Mrs. Van Aken was a very loving and accepting person. She touched everyone she met. She appreciated the natural beauty all around her and loved her family dearly.
"She will be missed deeply and loved always by her husband, Dr. Warner B. Van Aken, Medford, Ore; two daughters, Julie and (Michael) Tarver, Phoenix, Ariz; Christie Van Aken, Jacksonville, Ore; two sons, Bruce and (Suzette) Van Aken, Kent, Wash; Edward Van Aken, Portland, Ore; six grandchildren, Kristin, Lindy, Andrea, Kai, Celina and Jesse; and two great-grandchildren, Ian and Vivien.

"Duncan, March 19. -- Funeral services for Terrell B. Johnson, who died at his home, Duncan, route 1, last night at 9 o'clock after an illness of 10 days, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., at Poplar Springs Baptist church conducted by his pastor, the Rev. D. R. Hill assisted by the Rev. Jack Rogers. Interment wil be in the church cemetery.
"The following nephews are asked to meet at the home at 1:30 and serve as active pallbearers: Jessie and J. W. Johnson, Jeb, Boyce and Golden Bright and Harvey Rogers.
"A native of Spartanburg county, he was the son of Thomas and Mary Morris Johnson. For the past 10 years, Mr. Johnson had been a member of the Abner Creek Baptist church
